Leading Brazil's Housing Scale with Strategic PrecisionRonaldo Motta, serves as vice president of engineering and production, MRV

Ronaldo Motta serves as vice president of engineering and production at MRV, where he drives operational excellence, ensuring every site runs efficiently and every project aligns with the company’s strategic goals. He is a seasoned executive with an ability to blend engineering precision with business agility. His career spans telecom, IT and retail, strongly focusing on sustainable growth and corporate governance.

Ronaldo Motta isn’t just shaping buildings. He’s shaping how Brazil thinks about housing, engineering and scale. He leads a wide range of critical functions across the company’s construction and development operations. His responsibilities include technical research and development, architectural planning, budgeting, project execution, equipment oversight, quality assurance, safety protocols and customer support.

He also manages the production lifecycle, entire supply chain and supervises all active construction sites under MRV, Sensia and Luggo, while reporting directly to MRV’s co-CEOs. With a vast role and sharp focus, he ensures that every aspect of labor, materials and services supports MRV’s strategic direction. It’s a position that demands strategic foresight and operational grit, and Motta brings both in spades.

Before stepping into this role, he spent drove real estate development across southern Brazil. He handled land acquisition, permits and funding for new ventures, especially within MRV’s core mission of affordable housing. His ability to balance regulatory complexity with business urgency helped unlock growth in key regions.

Motta’s story doesn’t start in real estate. He’s spent over two decades leading across telecom, retail and IT, running high-stakes operations and guiding large teams. Whether managing customer service, sales or outsourcing, he’s always been drawn to environments where execution meets impact. One of his standout chapters was with Brazil’s largest retail brand, GPA. With nearly 100 people under his wing, he drove performance across sales, margin and working capital.

What makes Motta’s leadership resonate is his ability to observe what others miss. He’s a fast learner, a systems thinker and a firm believer in shared vision. He is dedicated to building the conditions for excellent results, rather than just chasing them. His teams describe him as disciplined, collaborative and deeply invested in their growth.

Internationally, he’s represented Brazil in supplier events and industry meetings across the US, Portugal and Spain. These experiences have shaped his global perspective, but his commitment remains rooted in local impact, where housing is a promise rather than a mere product.

At MRV, Motta brings more than expertise and intention. His leadership shapes the structures being built and the mindset behind them. He helps MRV grow with clarity and purpose by merging engineering excellence with operational finesse. His calm presence and sharp vision continue to guide the company toward meaningful progress.
