Expertise and Leadership in Digital Platforms

With years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, I’ve had the opportunity to lead the successful deployment of digital tools across all sorts of environments—big and small. As Director of Digital Platforms, my main goal is to ensure that every team member has what they need to work smoothly and deliver top-notch results.

I manage software licenses, provide technical support, and ensure data is accessible to everyone. It’s all about creating a seamless digital experience so our team can focus on what they do best and, in turn, drive the company’s overall success..

A Strategic Approach to Success

One of the strategies I swear by is our annual software survey. It’s simple but powerful. We gather feedback from our end users on what’s working, what’s not, and what could be better. Once we analyze that input, it gives us a clear picture of where we stand and what needs to be improved. This way, we’re constantly tracking trends, making adjustments, and ensuring continuous improvement for our team and clients.

Handling Challenges and Building Trust

Managing projects is a whole new game, especially with technology moving at the speed of light and user expectations constantly evolving. One challenge we often face is rolling out new tools while maintaining user trust. Change can be challenging, and it’s my job to ensure people feel supported during these transitions. Building that trust starts with listening, addressing concerns immediately, and offering real solutions. Once trust is there, future changes can be smoother, and projects can move forward.

Bringing People, Processes, and Technology Together

Success comes from harmonious collaboration among people, processes, and technology. Take a recent project as an example. We started by gathering detailed requirements from the team, which helped us evaluate potential vendors properly. Clear communication throughout the process kept everyone on the same page, and in the end, we implemented a solution that works and met all our goals.

“We gather feedback from our end users on what’s working, what’s not, and what could be better. Once we analyze that input, it gives us a clear picture of where we stand and what needs to be improved.”

The Future of Technology is based on trust and clean Data.

There’s no doubt AI is going to change the game. However, for AI to work, clean and accurate data is non-negotiable. If the data going in isn’t reliable, the results won’t be either. That’s why we work to  ensure our data is up-to-date and correctly classified. Trust in the data leads to trust in the technology, which means better decisions and smoother processes across the board.
