May - 2021CONSTRUCTIONTECHREVIEW.COM6Over the years, as many countries put forth significant efforts into combating climate change--the construction market played an essential role in a shift towards sustainable practices. The concept of sustainability in real estate means designing and constructing buildings to limit the impact on the environment by setting requirements such as shorter building time, energy efficiency, use of eco-friendly materials, and reducing waste outcomes. However, many developing countries lack appropriate resources such as skilled labor and knowledge to efficiently implement these sustainable building practices. Therefore, these countries have no other choice but to import materials, which in turn would impose on them high costs that are usually hard for them to afford. Moreover, traditional construction systems, like masonry and concrete, need a more significant amount of time and capital for construction. With an increasing emphasis on promoting sustainability in all aspects of building, dry construction technology is set to be the future of the construction market where remanufacturing, durability, low maintenance, recycling, and reuse will be part of the best industry practices. Dry construction methods allow contractors to shorten the duration of the construction site, reducing the downtimes and labor costs than a typical traditional method. Buildings realized through dry construction methods and the use of steel are more sustainable from an environmental point of view. Given the high percentage of recycled components, reduction of the energetic consumption, and waste--it lowers the impact both during the construction as well as the entire life of the building. On that note, we present the insights of the most promising Dry Construction Companies in the solutions, services, and consulting providers space to help organisations explore and unlock perspectives that translate to desired business and operational outcomes.
